THE EXPERIENCE

HYDRATE BEFORE

Most people do not drink enough water to begin with and now that you are using an infrared sauna and sweating, it is even more important to stay properly hydrated. Always drink plenty of water, before, during and after your session. Remove all make up to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the infrared heat during your sauna experience.

ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY

Our staff will get you checked-in, show you to your private room and make sure you know how to work the sauna controls. Please always call the office if you are running late so we can make a plan if necessary.

WEAR COMFORT

Lightweight shorts and a tee-shirt are okay. Swimsuits are better. “Birthday Suit” is best (please bring 2-3 towels, but towels can be provided at no additional cost). We recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session - think ‘athleisure’.

AFTER

When you finish your sauna session, you will continue to perspire as your body naturally cools down - refresh and revive with a fresh towel and place used towels in the Towel Drop.

Your body just flushed out a lot of toxins. Be sure to replenish and rehydrate - we have a cool water cooler right outside the sauna door ready for you if you need.

DURING - DON’T SWEAT THE TEMP

Think cumulative results. The more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest.

You may notice that it takes 10-20 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because our saunas are heating your body directly, passively raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference between infrared and traditional saunas. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session. We recommend you coming at least twice a week.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If you pre-registered for a session and LATE CANCEL (cancel within 24 HOURS of the session start time) the following penalties will be assessed: $15 late cancel fee and your session will be added back to your account for you to book a future reservation.

  • If you NO-SHOW for a session that you pre-registered for, the following penalties will be assessed: $25 no-show fee and your session will be added back to your account for you to book a future session.

    Please understand that our sauna is a one-person capacity, so if you cannot make it anymore and do not cancel your session it takes an opportunity away from someone else who could have booked the sauna.
