Annika Stegman, LMBT - Massage Therapist
I believe massage is about so much more than simply working out areas of tension. For me, it’s about creating a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and receive care that is truly tailored to you.
My journey into massage therapy began in 2024 when I enrolled in a Holistic Institute for Massage Therapy in Wake Forest. Through my training, I developed a strong foundation in anatomy, therapeutic touch, and client-centered care, but I also learned one of the most important lessons I bring into my practice today: no two bodies—and no two massage sessions—are exactly the same.
In early 2025, I became a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina. I am trained in Swedish, lymphatic, sports, and chair massage, as well as cupping, hot stones, and Gua Sha. Having a variety of techniques allows me to personalize each session based on what you are experiencing and what your body needs that day—whether you are looking for relaxation, relief from muscle tension, support for an active lifestyle, or simply time to decompress.
I take the time to listen to your concerns, preferences, comfort level, and goals before and throughout your session. My approach is compassionate and attentive, and I want every client to feel comfortable communicating what feels good, what doesn’t, and what they need from their time with me.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to leave your session feeling cared for, more relaxed, and more connected to your body than when you arrived.
When I’m not providing massage therapy, I enjoy life in Wake Forest with my rescue dog, who joined my family in 2023 and has been keeping life interesting ever since!
